**WE Hub Launches Campuspreneur: Empowering Young Innovators in Telangana**

In a groundbreaking initiative, the WE Hub Foundation has launched its flagship student entrepreneurship program, Campuspreneur, under the Grassroot Youth Innovation Programme (GYIP). The program aims to strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem in Tier 2 and Tier 3 regions of Telangana by providing structured mentorship, industry exposure, and institutional support to young innovators.

The 12-week ideation-to-prototype journey, designed to help students transform innovative ideas into validated and viable business models, received an overwhelming response with 112 idea registrations. From these, 57 high-potential teams comprising 143 student entrepreneurs were selected for the first cohort. The cohort represents 26 colleges from nine districts in Telangana, with participation extending to Pune and Navi Mumbai.

Campuspreneur is a structured program that offers training, mentorship, prototype development, and ecosystem exposure to students. The program's primary goal is to empower girls to become job-creators, rather than just job-seekers. According to Sita Pallacholla, CEO of WE Hub, "Campuspreneur is about enabling girls to build confidence, formalise their ideas, and step into entrepreneurship as a pathway to economic independence and leadership."

The program's focus on empowering girls is a significant departure from traditional entrepreneurship programs, which often overlook the specific challenges faced by women entrepreneurs. By providing a platform for girls to develop their ideas and turn them into viable business models, Campuspreneur aims to create a sustainable campus entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Campuspreneur will also support academic institutions in establishing and managing their own incubation centers, further promoting entrepreneurship and innovation on campus. The program's impact is expected to be significant, not only in Telangana but also in the wider entrepreneurial ecosystem.

In conclusion, the launch of Campuspreneur by WE Hub Foundation is a significant step towards empowering young innovators in Telangana. The program's focus on empowering girls and creating a sustainable campus entrepreneurship ecosystem makes it a unique and innovative initiative. As the program unfolds, it will be interesting to see the impact it has on the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Telangana and beyond.
